10 questions with Hannah Rose on health, fitness and sweet potatoes!

Hannah Rose has over 10 years experience in the fitness industry with a B.S. in Exercise Science. She is a Certified Exercise Physiologist, Personal and Group Trainer, with a background in competitive gymnastics and dance. Here, she answers 10 questions on health, fitness, sweet potatoes, and balancing it all.

If you had to define all that you do in a title, what would you say?

I genuinely enjoy educating, encouraging, and helping people overcome their personal health and wellness challenges. I enjoy training individuals that are brand new to working out, currently experiencing a setback due to an injury, or a senior trying to maintain strength.

How would you describe your philosophy about being fit and healthy?

Life is a journey of many seasons. Strength is found in everything. Physical strength through working out, emotional strength through life’s situation, and spiritual strength through the word of God. I personally take one day at a time, and I know that with God all things are possible. There is a new strength to embrace every season, and I encourage everyone out there to grow stronger.

How did you get started creating your passion into the profession you have today?

I’m originally from Atlanta, GA and started my career as a personal trainer 10 years ago. I developed a passion to help others overcome barriers that might limit them in reaching their fitness goals. My passion for nutrition, lifestyle behavior change, and fitness motivates me to stay up to date with current research in order for my clients to achieve the best results.

What’s your favorite quote or mantra you can’t live without?

Scripture verse: Joshua 1:9

Never look down on someone unless you’re helping them back up.
Who or what gives you the most inspiration?

If you never change, you’ll never change is a nugget of inspiration I received a while back! Don’t let life’s circumstances hold you back from trying something new or taking a risk towards accomplishing something you enjoy!

Fueling your body from workouts and living lean takes work, what’s your typical meal for…breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

My favorite meal and post workout breakfast is an Açaí bowl! Lunch and dinner look the same. Lean protein, veggies, and a starchy carb. I LOVE sweet potatoes!!

What makes you laugh, smile, and be joyful?

I enjoy funny videos, dancing, and outdoor adventures minus the bugs!

Favorite workout/exercise?

Muscle ups, handstand walks, and a longer HIIT workout.

Do you have any tips or tricks to living healthy, lean, and fit?

Day 1 is hard and day 2 might be harder! Take it one day at a time because transformation doesn’t happen overnight! Believe in yourself and trust the process! Find something you enjoy and have fun! When you have fun you’ll continue to workout!
